Roadwork at Green Lake: Progress on the First Phase

At Green Lake, we have begun work on the first phase of the road network, a crucial step in the development of our modern residential neighborhood. The new network will ensure optimal accessibility and connect the homes and apartments to the area’s main thoroughfares.

Details About the Road Network

The new road network will include three roads built to Category III standards, with the following specifications:

  • A 7-meter-wide roadway.
  • Two sidewalks, each 1.5 meters wide.

The road plan includes:

  1. Two streets that will run across the site from the south (connecting to existing streets) to the north (at the boundary with Plaiu Nucului Road).
  2. A street that links the south to the east, connecting the internal street network at both ends.

The total length of the proposed streets is 605 linear meters.

Progress of the Work

We have begun construction on Plot G, where the first villas will be delivered soon, and the road network will gradually expand as the other plots approach completion.

Stages of the work:

  1. Staking Out and Excavation: The site was excavated down to the foundation level in accordance with applicable laws and the construction drawings.
  2. Ballast Layer Compaction: Successive layers of stabilized ballast were applied, compacted, and tested using compression tests.
  3. Expansion of utility networks:
    • Drinking water, domestic water, stormwater, and sewer systems.
    • High-voltage power cable for Lot G.
  4. Paving: After the utilities have been installed, the base course and asphalt will be laid, connecting the network to the area that has already been completed.

Energy Development: A New Substation

A new electrical substation has been completed at the boundary between Lot G and Lot C. The next step is to connect it to the city’s power grid, providing the necessary infrastructure for the new residential units.
